Ecotrails
On the territory of the nature reserve “Gorgany” there is a scientific and educational trail “Gregota Gorgan”, which can be visited only when accompanied by an employee of the institution.
The nature of the terrain along the route: a forested area, with small descents and ascents, the presence of stone outcrops, at the end of the route there is a post-forest meadow and a steep descent to the Gorgansky PNDV estate.
Natural values: plant species listed in the ChKU; stone placers; places of growth of European cedar pine, common relict pine; one of the clusters of the Ukrainian part of the UNESCO world heritage natural site “Primitive beech forests and ancient forests of the Carpathians and other regions of Europe”.
Route length: 9 km.
Duration: 5 hours.
Seasonality of use: May-October.
Important: to visit the trail, it is necessary to make an appointment in advance and obtain permission from the administration of the nature reserve “Gorgany”.
Number of visitors: 15 people per visit. A maximum of 45 people per month.
