The cascading waterfall of the Gorgany massif of the Ukrainian Carpathians is located near the village of Chernyk and is fed by the water of the Chernyk Stream. It was formed in the place where a small stream passes through a rocky massif. The total height of the Chernytskyi Waterfall is about 7-8 m. The upper cascade of the waterfall is wide; the height of the water fall is about 2.5 m. After falling, the stream turns to a thin wedge-shaped gutter, from where it drops unbroken from a height of 4-5 metres.
